Description
Scotch Bonnet Pepper is considered the authentic Caribbean Pepper mainly grown in Jamaica, Belize and other Caribbean Islands. These peppers are used to give many dishes, such as jerk dishes, their unique spicy and hot flavor. They have a heat rating of 100,000- 300,000 Scoville Units. Scotch Bonnet is often mistaken for the Habanero Pepper but it has a very distinctive flavor.
How to use it:
• Add a couple drops over cooked meals for a distinctive spicy flavor
• Add 1/2 tsp in stews, soups and stir-fries if you like it hot
• A great substitute for salt
